Tiny Tots in Motion: 1-3 years. Wednesdays, 10:30am-11:15am.
This class encourages your child to be creative, to initiate her own ideas and to respond in her own
move, and explore, you’ll uncover an engaging world while building your child’s confidence, self-control
and communications skills.
2.5-5 years (Not parent participation)
Princess Ballerinas:
Ages 3-5 years: Tues 3:30-4:15 w/Tami & Cassie OR Fri 3:30-4:15 w/Cassie
In this unique class, students will enhance their balance & poise as well as hand/feet coordination
through basic ballet skills. They have the added opportunity to dress up and implement the tools they've
learned like a real princess! The dance skills build confidence and an appreciation for dance, and the
play encourages children to express themselves through movement and music. Pink leotard, tights,
ballet shoes, and pink skirt required.
Fairytale Theater (4-5 years): Thurs 3:30-4:30 w/Tami
Using classic stories and nursery rhymes, this class introduces young children to the joy of telling stories
on stage. The material is familiar and well loved for the comfort of the budding theater-student. Please
dress your child comfortably.
Hop & Bop (4-5 years). Thursdays 2:45-3:30 w/Cassie.
A basic introduction to jazz and hip hop dance for young minds. Utilizes beginning technique to explore
and learn rhythm and counting in dance. Any color leotard & tights, and black jazz shoes required.
Ages 6-Adult
Ballet: Ballet develops grace, flexibility, balance, alignment, and strength. Ballet combines the
enjoyment of movement, expression and sensitivity to music along with discipline. It is a basis for all
dance. Pink leather ballet slippers, pink tights, black leotard (any style) and a neat bun are required for
all ballet classes. Black skirt optional.

Jazz: West Side Story paved the way for jazz. It has become an exciting adventure in dance with tense,
high-paced movement using today’s music. Jazz is a ballet-based style of dance that emphasizes turns
and leaps. Prior or current ballet training is strongly recommended. Snug fitting dance wear, tights and
black jazz shoes required.
Jazz 1 (int/ages 6-8 years): Mon 3:30-4:20 w/Angie, Mon 4:30-5:20 w/Angie, Fri 5:30-6:20 with Angie
Jazz 2A (beg/ages 8-10 years): Thur 3:30-4:20 w/Megan,

Hip Hop: This is one of the most popular classes in the school. Students will learn the latest new
dance moves. Hip Hop allows a student to move freely and funky. This class will enhance a dancer’s
energy and enthusiasm for dance and focuses on building the basics including counting music,
memorization of sequences and choreography and exploring rhythm through the use of the body. Studio
t-shirt (any color), any color workout shorts or pants (no jeans), and black dance sneakers required. Hair
must be back.
Hip Hop 1A (beg/ages 6-7 years): Fri 4:30-5:20 w/Cassie, Tue 4:30-5:20 w/Cassie

Contemporary: Contemporary dance is a style of theatrical dance that favors movement deriving from
the expression of inner feeling. Dancers love the movement and emotional freedom it provides. Plus, it
is just a lot of fun! Once you try it, you will love it! Any color leotard, tights, and bike shorts required. Hair
back. Jazz shoes or contemporary shoes in tan are required.
Contemporary 3A (beg/ages 10-13 years): Tue 6:30-7:20 w/Cassie, Wed 6:30-7:20 w/Chelsea
Contemporary 3/4B (int-adv/ages 10-13 years): Thur 6:30-7:20 w/Cassie.
Tumbling: Our high energy, beginning tumbling curriculum teaches acrobatic skills such as
somersaults, cartwheels, back-bends, hand-stands, rolls, and more. Children improve coordination,
develop strength, balance and flexibility in this fun class. Any color leotard and shorts required. No
shoes, and hair must be back.
Tumbling 1/2 A (beg 6-9 years): Fri, 3:30-4:20 w/Angie

Drama & Musical Theater: A combination of dancing, acting and singing, this class includes learning
and exploring combinations from your favorite Broadway Shows as well as newer musicals such as
High School Musical the movie. Please dress comfortably for class. Shoes are not allowed in the
classrooms.

Mixed Media Art: These classes are built upon the belief that inside every child is an artist just waiting
to get out. All children have imagination, creativity, a sense of design and a desire to explore. This fun
class allows them to do that with new projects introduced every couple weeks. Many types of art and
mediums will be introduced in this class. Please dress comfortably for class.
Mixed Media Art 1A: (beg/ages 5-8 years): Tue 5:30-6:20 with Tami
Group Voice Classes: Taught by a professional singer and voice coach. students in group voice
classes will have the opportunity to learn about music, singing, stage performance, while developing
their skills as vocalists. This class is perfect for children interested in learning more about singing and
performing. Class starts 11/16/09
